She has deep expertise in the preparation and negotiation of complex real estate agreements and the development, structuring, drafting, and negotiation of commercial contracts, including non-disclosure, marketing, licensing, distribution, vendor, supplier, professional services, consulting, product sales, operational and joint venture agreements.

Julie excels at collaborating with client’s business units (legal, purchasing, supply chain, research and development, marketing, and finance) to facilitate and effectively finalize contracts and other commercial matters. She has served as the lead or general counsel for several commercial real estate organizations.

Julie began her legal career as a litigator, working with Straddling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth and then McDermott, Will & Emery. She formed her own firm 12 years ago.
